Missions Christmas Outreach
Each Christmas, we have the opportunity to share the story of Jesus and the message of God's love in the midst of real need. Participate in Missions Christmas Outreach to help transform lives as people see and hear God's grace at work.
You're invited to show God’s love and be a voice of hope by participating in this program, which benefits our local school partners (students and teachers), Department of Corrections Staff, and Safe Families.
OKC Missions Christmas Outreach
Missions Christmas Outreach at Crossings OKC needs volunteers to facilitate backpack and gift distribution, collection, sorting, and delivery. Explore opportunities and sign up here to help bring joy to others this Christmas!
Pick up a backpack in the Crossings OKC Atrium on Sunday, October 25 or November 1 after the 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. services. You will receive a shopping list and backpack to fill for an elementary student.
NEW THIS YEAR: Backpacks must be returned on Sunday, November 15 to any church entrance. (If backpacks are not returned on this date, we cannot guarantee they will be delivered to the school.)
Sponsor a student, teacher, warden, Safe Families child, or Scissortail Elementary student by providing gifts or a gift card. Visit the Crossings OKC Atrium on Sunday, October 25 or November 1 after the 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. services to receive the name and shopping list of the individual or family you will be purchasing for.

Age: Adults; Students with supervising adultOpportunity: Distribute backpacks and shopping lists to church members who will fill the backpacks or shop for an individual or family!

Age: Adults onlyLocation: CCS North Field House (next to the tennis courts)Opportunity: Sort backpacks, complete quality checks, and organize the backpacks by school and classroom.
Wednesday, November 18 • 1-4PM
Age: 15+ with supervising adultLocations: Starts at Crossings OKC (14600 N Portland Ave). Help unload the boxes at both schools: Eugene Field Elementary and Hupfeld Fine Arts Academy.Opportunity: Load boxes full of Christmas gifts onto trucks and unload them at the schools to prepare for distribution of the backpacks to the students during their Christmas parties. This position requires very heavy lifting!

Age: 7+Location: Eugene Field Elementary
Opportunity: Sign up with your friends to celebrate Christmas with the students at Eugene Field Elementary! You’ll do a craft with the students, sing Christmas carols, read a story, and students will open their backpacks.
If you aren’t available to volunteer or can’t fill a whole backpack, you can purchase items from the Amazon Wishlist!
