Get connected

On August 26, the City of Edmond passed a mandatory mask ordinance requiring people to wear masks or face coverings while inside any indoor place open to the public. The public is required to wear disposable or non-disposable face masks or coverings that fit snugly but comfortably against the sides of the face, are secured, and allow for breathing without restrictions. Exceptions and further details are available here.

Here’s what this means for Crossings:

The health and safety of our church family remains a top priority. We will honor the City of Edmond mask ordinance by wearing face masks and coverings inside the Crossings Edmond building. If you forget your mask or would like one, they will be available in multiple locations at Crossings Edmond.

  • Masks are required for all Crossings Edmond staff and volunteers.
  • Masks are required for any child attending class on the 2nd Floor of Crossings Edmond (2nd through 6th grades). Masks are strongly recommended for children 4 years through 1st grade.
  • The temperature of each child will be taken during check-in.
  • Children will receive a name badge when they are cleared to participate in Sunday programming. No child with a temperature of 100.4 or greater will be permitted to enter a classroom.
  • Additional sanitation procedures have been implemented before, between, and after service in each classroom. While it is not possible for us to remove every touchpoint in a fun and engaging environment, adjustments have been made to minimize those touchpoints.
Crossings offers a variety of Bible studies and classes to help you grow in your faith and better understand and experience God’s desire for your life.

As followers of Christ, we are called to love, encourage, support, pray, and care for one another. There are a number of ways we strive to do these things.

Congregational Care

One of the ways we can care for each other is through our Congregational Care ministry, which comes alongside those in the Crossings family in seasons of sorrow, sickness and setbacks. This shows up in a number of ministries that are largely unseen, yet significant. These ministries range from hospital and shut-in visits, to financial help and counseling for those in hard times, to fellowship for the retired and elderly, to a committed prayer team who prays over requests submitted on Sundays and during the week. We also take joy in ministering to those who are grieving, joining them in their immediate sorrow and following up with them weeks, and sometimes months, after their loss.

Caring for the congregation is a value rooted in the church’s formative years. Because this value continues, many in the Crossings family feel the same sense of intimacy felt by those in the early years, when our church was much smaller.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry provides distinctively Christian, one-to-one, gender specific, confidential care to those experiencing difficulties in their lives. Pastors will always be on the front lines of care, especially during times of crisis, but there are always many more needs for ongoing care than pastors can effectively meet by themselves. Stephen Ministry provides a biblical solution—equipping God’s people for ministry.
