Crossings

Mayfair

Welcome to Crossings

We're so glad you're here, and we can't wait for the opening of the Mayfair location! Recently, along with Mayfair Church of Christ, we have been working to determine the best way to serve the growing population surrounding Penn and NW Expressway in the Mayfair, Belle Isle, and surrounding areas. Through this process, we determined it was best for us, two churches that began so close together, to embrace our shared love for the people of this city and the things we hold in common to serve the community as one. The church building itself will go through a period of renovation and improvements. Our hope is to open again to the community later this year as Crossings Community Church with the dynamic worship, discipleship, and outreach ministries we value and are a part of all Crossings locations. (Learn more about this exciting opportunity here.)

While you're waiting, join us at one of our other locations to learn more about who we are and get connected with a community of believers.

You don’t have to wait for Crossings Mayfair to be ready before you begin gathering! This Sunday School class is designed to create a community for all who will be attending Crossings Mayfair once the building reopens. We encourage you to attend an 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. church service before Sunday School each week.

Sunday, December 3 • 2-4PM

Kids, birth-6th grade, and their families are invited to our first Christmas Caravan! Load up the car and drive through each Crossings location for fun surprises, snacks, and more! Most importantly, you will have an opportunity to pick up this year's Advent Family Devotional.

The Crossings Mayfair Food Pantry exists to strengthen the surrounding community and provide resources for those in need.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

The Crossings Mayfair Food Pantry provides emergency food service and is available to people who live in zip codes 73103, 73106, 73107, 73112, and 73116. Households living in these zip codes may be served one time each month after providing required documentation and completing the application process.

Households from other zip codes will be referred to pantries serving their zip code, or to other agencies that can help. Call the Regional Food Bank at (405) 972-1111 or visit their website for a list of available pantries.

INCOME GUIDELINES

People must also meet income requirements. Income limits for a one-person household are $419 weekly or $1815 monthly. For each additional family member, the limit increases by $148 weekly or $642 monthly. If your income falls within this range, you are eligible to apply for Food Pantry assistance.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

An application form must be completed on the first visit of every calendar year with required information for each household seeking assistance.

A photo ID and proof of residence (utility bill, lease, any legal document with name and address) in a zip code we serve is required for the application. Names and ages of persons living in the household are also required.

Only a picture ID is required for each subsequent monthly visit to the Food Pantry.

Next Date: Wednesday, December 13, 3-5PM

The schedule may change due to holidays, please considering calling before you visit to confirm food pantry hours.

How Can You Be Part of the Start?

How Can You Be Part of the Start?

The Mayfair location is an exciting venture that requires bold prayers, deep faith, and rich sacrifice; all of which will be outweighed by the joy and reward of experiencing community and seeing our friends, family, and neighbors find and follow Jesus! Please consider praying for God to:

  • Prepare the hearts of those we yearn to reach with the hope and love of Christ.
  • Establish strong relationships and partnerships with key civic leaders, area churches, and parachurch ministries.
  • Stir the hearts of those individuals he wants to be known as “the core” of the incredible new Kingdom movement.
  • Lead us to recruit the right key volunteers and staff members for our initial ministries and their teams.

If you want to Be Part of the Start of Mayfair, sign up here.

You can learn more on:

  • Sunday, September 3 in the Crossings OKC Atrium.
  • Sundays, September 10 & 17 at an interest meeting in the Crossings OKC Chapel after 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services.

While you're waiting

Join us at one of our other locations to learn more about who we are and get connected with a community of believers. If you are considering a visit to Crossings, please accept this as a personal invitation. We understand visiting a new place and meeting new people isn't easy. Let me put your mind at ease; Crossings is a safe place—a place where you can experience healthy community and grow in faith.

We are committed to serving God’s people locally and abroad through our OKC, Edmond, and online campuses as well as our Prison Ministry, Community Center, Clinic, and many others. There are opportunities to enrich your faith by being a part of weekly Bible studies and using your gifts and talents to volunteer. While this Mayfair location is still being finalized, we encourage you to attend one of our other locations. We'd love to get to know you!
