Crossings family, 

Thanks to your incredible generosity this summer, your one dollar bills have gone far and impacted many ministries in our community. Here’s an exciting Dollar Club update to let you know more about each of these ministries!

ARISE MINISTRIES

In June, we were able to support Arise Ministries, which offers spiritual and emotional support to single moms. Arise empowers them to create healthy homes and provides them tools to navigate real life. Arise partners with churches to provide small group support and special events throughout the year. This summer, Crossings hosted their annual event, Thrive Gathering, which encourages, empowers, and connects single moms to create community and provide space for support. We were able to give Dollar Club funds to support Arise and help them continue to show God’s love to single moms through their ministry efforts. 

 

CHURCH UNDER THE BRIDGE

The second ministry we have been able to support through the Dollar Club is Church Under the Bridge. This incredible ministry has been faithfully providing church services every Sunday—rain or shine—to our unhoused neighbors in downtown OKC, literally under a bridge, for over ten years. Church Under the Bridge partners with local churches who provide a meal, worship and the message, and Crossings OKC, Crossings Edmond, Crossings Students, and LifeCare have all participated over the years. This summer, we learned that the truck used to move all of their equipment needed repairs, and your generous donations to the Dollar Club helped provide funding to repair their truck. This ensures they are able to continue having church faithfully every Sunday!

HEARTSONG BELL CHOIR

Finally, we had the opportunity to share the Dollar Club with the Heartsong Bell Choir, who recently performed in the OKC Sanctuary. Crossings was able to provide bells for their choir in the past, and after many years of use, they are in need of being refurbished. The Dollar Club has been able to cover the cost for the bells to be refurbished so they can continue to lead worship and share their gifts with others.
