DAY 6

DAY 6

SCRIPTURE

“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.” - Colossians 1:13 ESV

PRAYER

Father God,

This world can seem so dark, with political division, conflict in relationships, selfishness, greed, addiction, illness, and the hardest: death. I admit I sometimes find it difficult to reconcile a good and gracious God with everything I experience around me. Refresh my memory, Lord; let me feel your presence. Shine the light of your countenance upon my face and renew my spirit as I seek your kingdom with all of my heart and soul today, and let me reflect your light into any darkness I encounter.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

JOURNAL REFLECTION

What evidence do you see of the domain of darkness? What areas of your life do you consider were/are part of that? What kind of consequences do you think come from those things?
