“In such a short time you are nearly persuading me to become a Christian.” Paul replied, “I pray to God that both you and those here listening to me would one day become the same as I am.” - Acts 26:28-29 TPT

Father God, so many people are disillusioned with what they think Christianity represents. I pray that disunity, over-reported scandals, misguided and misinformed judgment, or false teachings will not dissuade people from following Jesus. The gospel is a simple one, too often muddied by personal opinion and moral superiority. It really is all about Jesus. My mantra this week will be: “I pray to God that those listening to me would one day become the same as I am.” Let my words be led by truth and grace, and may Jesus be the entirety of my message. To you be the glory. In his saving name, amen.
