SCRIPTURE

“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked. “My Rabbi,” the blind man said, “I want to see!” - Mark 10:51 NLT

PRAYER

Jesus,

When you asked the blind man what he wanted you to do for him, it seemed so obvious. Of course a blind man would want to see. The boldness behind his request is so powerful, so inspiring. To ask for sight and believe you could, and would, give it to him—what faith! I want my faith to be this bold. Open my eyes to blind spots in my faith so I see the limitations I’ve placed on you. Every day I want to come to you without downgrading your resurrection power to understandable or human abilities. Lord Jesus, I pray for the miracle, I pray believing you can—and will—meet my faith with your mercy.

Amen.

JOURNAL REFLECTION

If Jesus were to ask you right now, “What do you want me to do for you?” How would you answer? Are your prayers bold, believing God can meet your faith with his resurrection power? If not, practice praying that way.

CALL TO ACTION

Today’s prayer calls us to boldness in our faith and reminds us we serve a God of miraculous healing. Even when we can’t see all the ways he’s working in our lives, our God is a God of miracles; he can handle our biggest, boldest prayers if we will only share them with him. Take time to reflect on the desires of your heart, and pray boldly to God today! If you wish, you can also share your prayer request with us; we would be honored to pray for you.
