Wildfire Response
The images of loss due to fire in Los Angeles and the Pacific Palisades have been heartbreaking. Communities are completely wiped out, and many of us personally know people who have been impacted by the devastation. Read below to see how you can help.

PRAY: Prayer is such a powerful gift from God, and we want to embrace this gift as we intercede for those impacted by the California fires. We’re praying for:
  • God to calm the winds, snuff out the fires, and pour out his grace and mercy over all impacted. 
  • The individuals directly impacted who have lost homes, loved ones, pets, and a lifetime of memories. 
  • The firefighters, first responders, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to contain the fires and rescue or salvage all they can. 
  • The state and local leaders to respond with wisdom, compassion, and generosity. 
  • The churches and ministry organizations who are on the frontlines to serve those who have experienced this trauma. 
GIVE: This will be a long road for all involved. The most immediate needs are shelter for the evacuees, food, water, toiletries, bedding, clothes, baby supplies, etc. We can support these endeavors by giving to ministries and organizations who are already positioned for immediate response.
