Our Ministries

Crossings has many different ministries dedicated to serving people here and abroad. Here is a list in alphabetical order.

Adoption & Foster Care

We’ll walk alongside you on your journey. There are over 8,300 children in the foster care system in Oklahoma that need stable, loving families. Each deserves a home and compassion regardless of their situation. If you can’t become a foster family or adopt, there are other opportunities to be a support … mentor a child … rock babies in the shelter … help gather supplies … and more.

Many families in Oklahoma feel the call to adoption or foster care, but don’t know where to start. Chosen — OKC Adoption Ministry provides information and support to families who have questions about adoption, as well as families already in the adoption or foster care process.

Crossings Bookstore, located in the northeast corner of the Atrium, is a resource and gift shop which carries a variety of Christian materials for growth, encouragement, and inspiration for all ages. Senior Pastor Marty Grubbs’ Sunday morning messages are also available in the Bookstore.

4yrs – 4th Grade

Children’s Ministry provides energetic worship, large group team-building games, and Bible teaching through our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programs. Fun special events are also planned throughout the year.

5th- 6th Grade

Crossings 56 allows 5th & 6th graders to hang out with Christian friends–on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and special activities–in a fun and high-energy atmosphere while learning more about Jesus.

Coffee Shop

Enjoy your favorite coffee beverage at Crossings Coffee Shop, located in the Atrium, on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Monday mornings when Women’s Bible Studies meet. The Coffee Shop proudly serves Heart to Honduras select coffee! Your purchase helps support Crossings ministry partner, Heart to Honduras.

College Adult Ministry endeavors to help students lift up Christ on college campuses through prayer, Bible study, worship, and community. Our vision is for every college student to hear the gospel and grow in their faith through discipleship.

Community Groups

Community Groups are gatherings of 10-15 people who meet in homes throughout the metro to share life together through fellowship, encouragement, and prayer. This group experience helps individuals find friendship and opportunity for spiritual growth.

Congregational Care

Life on earth is a mixture of joy and sorrow, and God calls us to move through these times with each other. Whether it is the birth of a child, a hospital stay, or the loss of a loved one, we’ll walk with you, providing connection, consolation, and comfort.

Crossings Christian School

The mission of the Christian, college-preparatory school is to partner with parents and church to develop Christ-centered servant leaders who are academically and spiritually prepared for college and life. From 39 preschoolers in 1998, the school now educates students in preschool through 12th grade.

Crossings Community Center

One of the tangible ways we pour our time and resources into serving the greater Oklahoma City area is through the Community Center. A pressing need in our community is education, so the Community Center has partnered with John Marshall Mid-High School to offer The Club, a weekly mentoring, life-skills training, and spiritual program. The Community Center also utilizes various ongoing and recurring resources to develop strong relationships within the community.

Crossings Community Clinic

The Clinic’s purpose is to share the message of Christ by serving the health needs of the less fortunate in our community. The Clinic serves Oklahomans who are uninsured or otherwise without access to primary care. Medical, dental, vision, and counseling services are available by appointment at no cost.

Disaster Response

One doesn’t have to live in Oklahoma long to realize it is one of the greatest places on earth. That said, it is also a place that can present some tremendous seasonal changes. Ice storms, floods, wildfires, violent tornados, and yes, even earthquakes, are a part of life for Oklahoma residents. Driven by our great compassion and desire to be the hands and feet of Christ, Crossings Disaster Response Team (CDRT) was created to restore hope and rebuild lives when disaster strikes.

Crossings hosts many special events throughout the year, including concerts, leadership seminars, guest speakers, and more.

The Library, located next to the Bookstore, offers a variety of books and recordings to be checked out by Crossings members.

LifeCare – Counseling, Support, and Recovery

LifeCare Ministry embodies our desire to minister to the brokenness of individuals, marriages, and families. We offer assistance to those adults or older adolescents actively attending worship at Crossings who believe they have counseling-related needs. In addition, help is provided to Crossings attendees as well as those within the community through a variety of support and traditional 12-step groups, known as CareSeries, and the recovery ministry of Celebrate Recovery.

A variety of media is available on the website, including Sunday messages and worship every week.

We desire to encourage and nurture men in their relationships, families, and careers. We believe today’s man is searching for meaning…the kind of meaningful living the Bible talks about and only a relationship with Christ can offer. Men reaching out to men is what this ministry is all about!

The Missions/Outreach Ministry exists to train and equip ordinary people to do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus, both locally and globally, so all might see, hear and experience God’s love in tangible ways.

Mother’s Day Out

The purpose of Mother’s Day Out (MDO) is to provide a safe and loving environment where children begin learning independence and interactive play, while forming new friendships with other children and adult teachers.

Nursery Ministry shares the love of Christ with children, infants-3 years, and provides the loving care they deserve in a secure environment.

Prayer is powerful and effective. Crossings has several teams dedicated to serving the prayer needs of our congregation.

Relationships – Weddings

We are honored by your decision to get married at Crossings Community Church. We know that this will be such an exciting time for you as a couple. At Crossings Community Church we are committed to building Christ-centered marriages and look forward to being with you during this season of life. Our beautiful Chapel and Sanctuary are available for weddings to members of Crossings Community Church who have been active participants in the last six months or are children of active members.

Senior Adults

Adults 55 and better are invited to join other senior adults for Sunday School, Community Groups, Thursday Game and Luncheon Days, and a variety of other activities and trips.

Single Adults

Single Adult Ministry at Crossings is divided into three age groups and Sunday School classes: Singular (8:15 a.m., 50+), The Bridge (9:15 a.m., 30s & 40s), and Checkpoint (10:45 a.m., 50+). In addition, Community Groups meet throughout the week, and there are monthly singles activities.

Spiritual Formation

Encompassing both Centered and Apprentice experiences, as well other opportunities, individuals explore the meaning of a Christ-centered life through the growth and development of the whole person by an intentional focus on one’s spiritual life, based on the premise that if we do certain practices, we can be more like Jesus.

Middle School

7th & 8th graders gather on the third floor to experience great Bible teaching, incredible worship, fun friendships, small groups and much more on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Special events are also planned throughout the year.

High School

9th-12th graders get together every Sunday morning and Wednesday night—as well as special activities throughout the year—for teaching that applies to real life, small groups, and great music in a fun atmosphere.

Sunday School

No matter where you are in your spiritual maturity or your stage of life, there’s a place for you. The goal of each adult class is to learn God’s Word and live it out together. Nursery care and Sunday School for children (4 years-4th grade), Crossings 56 (5th & 6th grade), middle school (7th & 8th grade) and high school (9th-12th grade) are also available.

The church cannot function without volunteers, and God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well so we can serve Him by serving others. There’s no better way to get connected in your church, make new friends, and grow in your relationship with God. There are many opportunities waiting, on a weekly or rotating basis – and 95% of them take less than two hours per week. Visit Volunteer Central in the Atrium to get involved.

Our beautiful Chapel and Sanctuary are available for weddings to Crossings members who have been active participants in the last six months or are children of active members.

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday Nights at Crossings are a time to become equipped for living out your faith in this world. Choose from Bible study, finance, parenting, theology, and other topical classes that help you better understand and experience God’s desire for your life. Enjoy dinner before classes for a small cost. Nursery care and classes for children and students are also offered.

Women’s Ministry is a great way for women, of every age and with varied backgrounds, to make new friends and learn about God through Women’s Bible Studies (including MOM’s group) and special events.

We believe in surrounding them with Christ-like leaders who will help them grow and develop spiritually. You can find comfort in knowing that every adult working with infants and children has gone through background checks and interviews with our pastors. Kids enjoy high energy, interactive, and age-appropriate groups on Sunday mornings and other special events.
