Blessed. It’s a word we hear and use often, but do we ever consider what it truly means? How often do we use #blessed with biblical context in our minds? The truth is, blessed means so much more than just superficial happiness; it means we’re spiritually well and prospering.

Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes detailed in the book of Matthew give us a biblical framework for how God views being blessed, and it’s certainly different from what our world tells us being blessed looks like. This July, we will discover what being blessed truly means and how the Beatitudes help us become better disciples.
