Listed below are the classes offered for the Wednesday Night Advent Session January 9 – March 13. Classes are from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and dinner is served from 4:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

When Bad Things Happen to Good People: The Story of Job

At some point, we’re all forced to confront the question of how a good God can allow undeserved suffering. Whether we ourselves are in a time of trial or someone we love, we need to make sense of suffering in the world. Join Pastor Terry Feix to seek relevant wisdom from the ancient story of Job.

How can you raise courageous, compassionate, resilient, and empathetic kids? Join two of our LifeCare counselors as they walk you through the essential emotional, spiritual, and social milestones your kids need to reach. (from the book Are My Kids on Track?)

Explore the possibilities of a life centered on Christ through ten weeks of personal reading and reflection, weekly group conversations, worship, and celebration guided by Bible-based discipleship curriculum. Begins January 9; all groups meet together at 6:30 pm in the Chapel.

Men’s Bible Study

Join other men in a two-year Bible study from Genesis to Revelation. Every man needs a place where he can be challenged to grow in his faith. This study is ideal for community, accountability, prayer, and great Bible teaching. If you’ve wanted a clearer picture of the Bible in its entirety, or how all of the pieces fit together, this is the study for you.

Kingdom Come (Women’s Study)

The Sermon on the Mount has been called the Constitution of the Kingdom of God. Jesus is establishing the kingdom on earth. In order to function properly, a kingdom needs a king, a people, specific land with borders, and a law. In this 8-week study, learn what it means to be a citizen of the kingdom as you discover that the best and highest form of human life can be lived within the safe borders of God’s kingdom.
