Many years ago, the front cover of Forbes magazine posed the question: “Why do we feel so bad when we have it so good?” Our society has never been as depressed as it is now. The second leading cause of death among people aged 10-24 is suicide. There are so many reasons our kids, families, marriages, schools, and communities are in trouble.

Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
