LifeCare Ministry embodies the desire of Crossings Community Church to minister to the brokenness of individuals, marriages, and families. LifeCare Ministry offers assistance to those adults or older adolescents actively attending worship at Crossings who believe they have counseling-related needs. In addition, help is provided to Crossings attendees as well as those within the community through a variety of support and traditional 12-step groups, known as CareSeries, and the recovery ministry of Celebrate Recovery.

Through support and recovery groups, CareSeries provides opportunities for individuals to find hope by participating with others who are facing similar life challenges. CareSeries offers individuals an opportunity to address the specific season of life they are facing with a loving and supportive community as they pursue God’s purpose and plan for their lives.
While CareSeries groups are not a place for therapy, they do provide a confidential, Christian setting where participants can be honest and grow. Each group is lead by a trained facilitator who desires to offer encouragement and guidance on the path to healing.
Note: These offerings do not meet criteria for court-ordered requirements or certifications. Documentation of participation is not available from Crossings Community Church.

The Celebrate Recovery Step Study is a gender-specific, 10–month study that deals with mixed recovery issues, which include any hurt, habit, or hang–up. The study uses the 12 Steps with their biblical comparisons and the eight principles that are based on the Beatitudes. The Participant Guides are designed to create movement through the steps as each person is on a healing journey that creates new understanding and hope through the work of the Holy Spirit, and not merely the material. Prayer and Scripture are an integral part of the transformation and healing process. Materials cost $5 per book. For details, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 405-302-1293.
The Journey Begins original step study includes the following topics:
- Stepping Out of Denial Into God’s Grace (Guide One)
- Taking an Honest Spiritual Inventory (Guide Two)
- Getting Right With God, Yourself, and Others (Guide Three)

Counseling is offered to Crossings adults who identify Crossings as their church home, who attend Sunday services on a regular basis, and who are assessed as appropriate to the level of care LifeCare can offer. Occasionally, a given need is beyond the scope of LifeCare’s ability. However, every effort is made to find a referral, within a trusted network of private practice Christian therapists, who can better respond to the specific need.
Please note, childcare is not available and children, including infants, are not allowed in adult sessions. Also, for the safety of your family, children under 15 years of age are not allowed to be left unattended on the church campus.
To make an appointment, please call LifeCare Ministry at 405-302-1249 to explore with them how to best support your journey in Christ and its gift of emotional and relational wholeness. Prior to attending a counseling session, please complete the counseling client intake form.
