The Gospel, with its declaration that Jesus is Lord, has always been a threat to the tyrants of history. In an era when Roman rulers demanded to be worshiped as gods, how did early Christians navigate the demands of the state and their faith? Can their solution provide a blueprint for Christians today?

BIO: Terry Feix left the business world to become a pastor at Crossings 17 years ago. His passion is to make the Bible come alive in its historical, geopolitical, and spiritual setting.
