Faith Active In Love, Love Beyond Law: The Book Of Ruth

Group Details

The compelling drama of Ruth has few Hollywood equals when it comes to tension and trust, love and loyalty. This class looks at the historical and biblical contexts of the book of Ruth, explores the message and lessons of the book, and shows how biblical narratives work. We learn that the biblical writer is adept not only at telling a great story, but also in showing us something of ourselves through its characters and their choices and actions. Come, explore the drama of Ruth and see how God is present in the midst of life’s realities. Chick-fil-a box dinners are available for $6 per person. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Crossings OKC Atrium; debit/credit cards accepted.
