SCRIPTURE

Again, I give you an eternal truth: If two of you agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, my heavenly Father will do it for you. For wherever two or three come together in honor of my name, I am right there with them! - Matthew 18:19-20 TPT

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

While I can’t physically gather with others, in the name of Jesus Christ, hundreds, even thousands, are coming to you like-minded, in complete agreement of needing your hand of healing on our world. We raise our unified voices in earnest prayer, petitioning on behalf of those serving on the forefront of this pandemic, as well as those suffering unemployment, business closures, and other consequences, due in no way to their own actions. We collectively acknowledge curbing this invasive disease by isolation saves countless lives, but we also know the longer it goes on, it will result in hardships for millions. Father, come quickly to eradicate this virus and guide the leaders around the world with perfect God-given wisdom to lessen the burden felt by so many. May your power and goodness turn many hearts to you, and you receive all the glory.

In Christ’s name I pray, we pray.

Amen.

JOURNAL REFLECTION

Hundreds of people are praying with you today, so as you go through your daily routine, know you are united as one lifting your requests to the Lord. You are being prayed for, you can pray for others, and Jesus is in your midst. What are your needs? How can you pray for others?

CALL TO ACTION

Today’s reflection and prayer give us a crucial, powerful reminder: Jesus is in our midst. Do you ever picture him lovingly looking at you, holding your hand, or comforting you when you pray? Do you feel his presence in your daily life, even as it continues to change in the face of the pandemic? Today, simply pray and thank God that no matter what we go through, we never walk through it without a God who loves us, cares for us, and desires his best for us in all circumstances.
