If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. - James 1:5 ESV

Father God, you are a generous God. When I need forgiveness you heap on mercy and grace. When I am anxious, you overwhelm me with your peace. When I lack wisdom and turn to you, you lavish me with revelation, counsel, and guidance. So often when I face challenges, choices, and decisions, I find myself relying on my experience or desires which can lead me to a dangerous place. My prayer is that I turn to you first for wisdom, that I look in your Word or other ways I know you speak to me. In your name, Amen.
