DAY 6 - FEBRUARY 23

DAY 6 - FEBRUARY 23

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. - Romans 8:26-27 ESV

Dear God, I can’t help but feel enormous loss with the approaching anniversary of the beginning of the massive effects of the Coronavirus pandemic in our country. Not one person escaped the consequences of this past year, whether through loss of life, unemployment, business closures, personal restrictions, altered routines, depression/anxiety, isolation, loneliness, or something else; everyone suffered. So today, like many days over the past year, I am at a loss for words to pray what’s in my heart. I will remain still, abiding in the Holy Spirit as he prays for me. Please hear the groanings too deep for words. In Jesus’ name, amen.
