DAY 29

DAY 29

SCRIPTURE

Now, may the Lord himself, the Lord of peace, pour into you his peace in every circumstance and in every possible way. The Lord’s tangible presence be with you all. - 2 Thessalonians 3:16

PRAYER

Dear God,

Jehovah Shalom, Lord of Peace, I know I can turn to you in every circumstance. Your love is expressed most powerfully in our Lord Jesus. Through him, you offer comfort, hope, and strength for whatever I face today. There is so much fear and anxiety around me, but I can choose to find comfort and tranquility in you. You are my rock, my help, and my way forward. Your tangible presence through the Holy Spirit gives me peace of mind, quiets my soul, calms my fears, and steadies my heart.

I pray to you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three in one.

Amen.

JOURNAL REFLECTION

How does God’s peace find its way into your life? What are the different ways he pours his peace into you? Can you think of examples of when you have felt his presence during difficult times, maybe even this national emergency?

CALL TO ACTION

This time of uncertainty can shake us to our core. Disruption, sickness, anxiety, scarcity, and fear dominate every platform, outlet, and conversation. But, as Christians, we are given the incredible gift of God’s fathomless peace. Today, listen to the powerful worship song, “For Your Glory,” and reflect on God’s provision and peace in your life through this challenging time.
