DAY 15 - MARCH 5

DAY 15 - MARCH 5

God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he’s rich in love. He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever. He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him. And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. - Psalm 103:8-12 MSG

Merciful God, you are patient with me. Since you know my heart, you know my temptations before I give into them, and you yearn for me to turn back to you. There have been times that you have waited patiently for hours, days, or even years, for me to confess. I may suffer consequences for what I do. But you are willing to forgive me, and separate me from my sins as far as the east is from the west—a never-ending expanse full of your grace. I will remember the reaches of your mercy upon every sunrise and sunset. Gratefully I pray, amen.
