BE A VOICE OF HOPE THIS CHRISTMAS!

BE A VOICE OF HOPE THIS CHRISTMAS!

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:1-2
Merry Christmas, Crossings Family!

We’re so excited to celebrate Christ’s birth together soon! As you know, our Christmas Eve services are available online only this year to allow our church family to stay safe and healthy during this season. While things may be a little bit different as we worship from our homes, there are so many ways we can still demonstrate Christ’s love to our neighbors and share in these special services in new ways.

Poinsettia-1.jpg Looking for some ways to bring hope and share Christmas Eve services with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and others in your life? Check out these creative ideas!*

  • Make a goodie bag with hot cocoa, candy canes, and other pre-packaged treats, write a note, and take an invitation to your neighbor to invite them to Christmas Eve services! Include which service you’re planning to stream so you can worship together.
  • Set up a projector outside and invite your neighbors, friends, and family to stream services with you–socially distanced, of course!
  • Pick up a poinsettia, write a note inviting your neighbors to Christmas Eve services with you, and deliver it to them.
  • Host a virtual watch party: send an email to your coworkers, family members, friends, etc. with a Christmas Eve service invitation, a link to watch services, and which service you’re planning to watch.
  • Set up a Facebook watch party and share it with all your friends!
  • Take a photo with your candlelight service kit and Christmas Eve service invitation–or get creative!–and post it on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or other social media accounts to invite your friends to be part of services with you.
  • Take a quick video to share on social media or send to friends, family, and neighbors inviting them to services, telling them why you’re excited about them!
  • Send the weekly Advent devotion to friends, family, neighbors, or coworkers and include the link to christmas.crossings.church so they can explore service details.
  • Encourage friends and family to download the Crossings App and stream services on their Apple TV, Roku, or mobile device.
  • Send a DoorDash, PostMates, or other meal service gift card and a link to Christmas services so they can enjoy a holiday meal or treat while they worship at home.
* Don’t forget to wear your mask, wash your hands, observe social distancing, and take precautions to remain safe!

God has given us so many new opportunities to love our community, even when we can’t gather as we normally would. Let us know how you’re planning to participate and invite others to Crossings At Home Christmas Services by sharing on social media using the hashtag #CrossingsChristmas2020.

Merry Christmas!
