What is love? How much of love is knowing and how much is feeling? Is it possible to know you are loved, even if you don’t feel loved?Describing love is not an easy task, and our culture has certainly distorted–or even destroyed–the idea of loving unconditionally. Jesus told us the greatest commandments were to love God and to love others as he has loved us. Still, many believers will say “I love you, but…” or “I love you if…” So many of us have no clear concept of what a genuine, Jesus kind of love looks like because we haven’t experienced it.The result is confusion as we look for love in all the wrong places. These are not just 21st century problems; they were just as real in the church thousands of years ago as they are to us today. Beginning Sunday, August 18, Senior Pastor Marty Grubbs will lead us on a journey to discover the true source of love. What does it look like at church? What does it look like at home? What does it look like in marriage? What does it look like at work? Be a part of the Greatest of These series to find out.
