Our music ministries are a great way to use your God-given talents, enjoy community with musicians, and be a part of something wonderful. Learn more about Crossings’ Choirs, Orchestra, and Academy of Fine Arts and Character and how you can get involved.
Crossings choirs lead worship in both Sanctuary services and the Chapel service.
In addition to these opportunities, Crossings offers a women’s choir and a seasonal handbell choir.

Voices of Crossings
Composed of 100+ singers from varied backgrounds the Voices of Crossings (Sanctuary Choir) leads worship in both sanctuary services (9:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.) on Sunday mornings. Anyone 16 years old or over is welcome to join us.
No audition is required. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. in the Choir Room (located behind the Sanctuary platform) and Sundays from 8:20 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
Directed by Don Peslis, the Chapel Choir, for singers ages 16 and up, sings in the 8:15 a.m. Sunday Chapel service. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 5:45 in the Chapel.
This is an exciting musical group for women, led by Jeri Edmonds, who participate at many outside functions and occasionally for church services. Rehearsals are Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. in the choir room (located behind the Sanctuary stage).
Crossings Orchestra features a complete array of strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and rhythm. The orchestra brings a dynamic dimension to both traditional hymns and contemporary songs played in the Sanctuary services. The Orchestra plays for both Sanctuary services each Sunday morning. This ensemble, which is largely volunteer, is comprised of instrumentalists with exceptional ability. All sections are open for high school sophomores or older who have accomplished a certain amount of skill on their instrument.
The orchestra rehearses each Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. Experienced musicians, high school age or older, interested in playing for worship services and special events should contact David McDonald, Musical Director of Sanctuary Worship, for more information.
The Academy of Fine Arts and Character (AFAC) believes that the arts are a foundation for human expression. We also believe that the highest goal is the utilization of their art form as a vehicle to worship God.
