This fall marks the beginning of a new season full of opportunities to grow deeper in your faith, worship in community, discover your spiritual gifts, and connect with others, both inside and outside of Crossings.
Whether you’re new to Crossings or consider it your church home, you’re invited to get involved and be known in this community. Explore The Weekly, your guide to events, classes, and more happening at Crossings each week, for ways to cultivate a rich faith this fall through worship, connection, growth, and serving.
WHAT IS WORSHIP?
Worship is our response, both personal and collective, to what God has done and who he is.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. -Psalm 100:1-2
A primary facet of our faith is worship, and we are called to respond together in worship to the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and strength. Taking a posture of praise, thanksgiving, and admiration for God through worship provides an opportunity for a deeper relationship with him and others who worship with us.
Gathering with the Crossings community for worship on a weekly basis is more than just music. It’s taking communion together, celebrating baptisms, tithing, and prayer. We encourage you to make a habit of attending each week and invite you to explore services at crossings.church/about.
Next week, we’ll continue to look at the four ways to cultivate a rich faith and explore how connecting is important to biblical living. Visit crossings.church/the-weekly to read more posts like this!
