The purpose of Missions & Outreach at Crossings Community Church is to train and equip ordinary people to go and do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus so that all might see, hear and experience God’s love in tangible ways.

Local Outreach

About Local Outreach

Through building bridges in our local community, Crossings strategically leads and partners with ministries that care for the most vulnerable in our community. Through equipping the saints (you), we are able to show the love and compassion of Jesus to a broken and hurting community. We believe that the key to transforming lives for Jesus is through the context of the relationships we build in our neighborhoods.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. {Ephesians 2:10}

We will help you find the intersection of passion and purpose in your life which God has specifically gifted you to serve.

Prison Ministry

The vision of Crossings Prison Campuses is to live by faith, be a voice of hope, and be known by love to the incarcerated. Crossings welcomed Joseph Harp Correctional Center in Lexington, Oklahoma, as a satellite campus on April 1, 2018. On Sunday, April 26, 2020, Crossings welcomed 21 additional prison campuses to the Crossings family.

We strive to bring a quality and welcoming experience to all the inmates who attend our services. Our goal is for our members to have a church family in which to belong. We remember that we are all flawed and are all in equal need of the grace and forgiveness the cross brings. Whether we go to our homes in the evening or back to our prison cells, we remember that we’re all the same, and we all need a little help in our determination to become more Christ-centered people. We hope this shines through all of our activity behind bars. Learn more about the ministry and how to get involved by clicking the button below!
