Crossings Community Church (CCC) is seeking a Technical Director (TD) for the Student and Children’s ministries at the Oklahoma City Campus. The TD is responsible for the oversight and operation of all audio, video, and lighting systems, as well oversight for all media technology and production staff, contractors and volunteers, in a multi-media environment supporting the Student and Children’s Ministries and would also have some responsibilities in other ministries as assigned.

Organizational Relationship:

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical equipment for weekend services, midweek and special events
  • Provide insight and direction to stay up to date on live production technology trends
  • Strive for excellence, creativity and innovation in all technical areas
  • Participate in post-service evaluations and communicate any changes to the team
  • Participate in planning and production meetings for services and events
  • Cast vision and manage priorities for weekend volunteer teams
  • Oversee contract production staff
  • Recruit and train production volunteers
  • Manage scheduling of production volunteers
  • Collaborate with other campus teams for best practices, support and idea sharing
  • Assist other ministries and the community center/clinic with technical needs as assigned

  • Supports the leadership of CCC, contributing to the spirit of unity among the staff and congregation.

Skills Required for Position

  • Expert in audio, video, and lighting systems used in a multi-media live and online environment
  • Prior experience in a technical/production ministry of a large church.
  • Understanding of the unique role that media and production plays in creating meaningful weekend worship experiences including live broadcasting.
  • Experience with video systems including projection of lyrics and video content.
  • Experience with programming automated lighting systems.(Hog4 software would be helpful)
  • Have an understanding of signal flow and able to make minor equipment and cable repairs.
  • Experience recruiting, leading, team-building and motivating volunteers.
  • Passionate about a quality worship experience – both live and online.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, organization and time management.
  • Troubleshoot quickly and learn on the fly for the best solution when needed
  • Soldering, cable termination, use of basic hand tools
  • Ability to learn technical skills, and research and apply technical information

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Be able to walk a long distance (up to a quarter of a mile)
  • Be able to lift and carry 25 – 35 pound parcels for distances of up to 500 feet.
  • Be able to be on your feet for long stretches of time.
  • Possess a current unrestricted driver’s license.

    • Works with the OKC Middle School Team: 2 Middle School Pastors (Male and Female; FT), Ministry Coordinator (FT) and at least two interns (PT).

    • Provides pastoral leadership to all aspects of the church’s ministry to students in 7th and 8th grades, with specific attention to male students.

Provides collaborative coordination of weekly programming for 135+ 7th-8th grade students.

    Qualifications

    • Medical degree from an ACGME or AACOM accredited medical school and accepted residency.
    • Board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
    • In good standing with the state of Oklahoma Medical Board and qualified for standard malpractice insurance rates.
    • Knowledge of the principles and practices of health planning and management.
    • Intermediate skills with an EHR
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of the health care team promoting excellent patient care.
    • Ability to actively engage, lead, coach, develop, and energize volunteers and staff.
    • Ability to be a spiritual leader among the staff and volunteers with a strong commitment to the mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Assesses the health status of individuals and families through history taking, physical examination and diagnosis. 

    • Prescribes and manages the medical plan of care for assigned patients. Initiates follow‐up for lab and diagnostic testing results as indicated. Initiates and maintains accurate records.

    • Provides educational information to patient and family regarding the patient condition, promotes health maintenance collaborating with the team to coordinate and facilitate optimal health and care. 

    • Provides clinical supervision/oversight of Advanced Practitioner(s). 

    • Conducts chart reviews to ensure appropriate documentation and record keeping by staff and volunteer providers.
    • Recommends opportunities for improvement and service expansion to enhance the offering of effective prevention and medical interventions.
    • Ensures compliance with standards, laws and regulations as created by regulatory and accrediting organizations. 

    • Prays with patients/families/staff/volunteers and directs, when needed to, resources for healthy physical and spiritual lives. 

    • Participates in the recruitment, selection and orientation of physician volunteers.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with volunteers and related community organizations that are partners in the clinics ministry. Represents the interests of the Clinic within the community as a ministry. 

    • Participates in interview and selection process of key clinic personnel. 

    • Assists with the educational activities for the staff and Clinic volunteers.
    • Other duties may be assigned to fulfill the job’s position.
