Crossings Edmond volunteers and staff were able to be a voice of hope in the community through Back-to-School Bash held at the Edmond campus in August! There were endless activities, opportunities to connect with others, and time for encouragement for the school year. Avid volunteer and enthusiastic Crossings Edmond member, Melissa Abercrombie, enjoyed the event with her family and can’t wait to attend again next year.
“We had a lot of fun,” she said. “The line was long for the rock wall/bungee bounce, but my kids would have waited all day! I loved that Back-to-School Bash finally got a friend I’ve been inviting to church for months to come check us out.”
Back-to-School Bash is an easy way to experience the Crossings family firsthand prior to attending another event, group, class, or service. “Events like these are so important for church seekers,” Melissa said. “My friend had not been in church in so long and really needs to be in community.”
