“At The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital we understand the importance of spiritual care in the healing process. We have identified a need to provide a church service for the families of patients we get to serve. Crossings Community Church heard about this need and immediately wanted to help. We are grateful for the opportunity to have Crossings Community Church here to lift up our patients and their family’s spiritual well being.”
— Albert Gray, The Children’s Center Chief Executive Officer
ARRIVAL & PARKING
The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital is located off 39th Expressway just east of Rockwell. Turn south off 39th at the main entrance and follow the road to the parking garage where you may park on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor. Services will be held in the Education Center just south of the parking garage; entrance is on the west side of the building. Guest Services staff will be there to greet and serve you!
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Children’s Center service is a relaxed, family-oriented service which includes live worship, a streamed message, and the opportunity to connect in community with other families, staff, and volunteers.
Those attending this service are invited to come as you are, whether that’s in scrubs, jeans, t-shirts, or whatever else you feel comfortable in. Complimentary coffee and water are provided. Crossings KIDS programming is not offered on this campus; however, there is a quiet room available to view the message as a family if needed.
Guest Services and Worship volunteers are needed Sundays from approximately 9:00-11:30 a.m. for the Children’s Center service. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Operations (Set up and tear down)
- Section Leaders
- Hospitality Hosts (Serving Coffee and Water)
- Next Step Hosts (Interacting with First Time Guests and/or discussing opportunities to take the next step in their faith)
- Prayer Team
- Media & Tech
- Worship Team
