Even when we can’t connect in person, there are numerous opportunities for Bible study in Christ-centered community. One incredible opportunity for those who want to connect with others to study and discuss the Bible is Sunday School online!

As classes continue to meet, we are reminded of the fact that God moves in every circumstance possible, including–and especially–during our time in isolation and social distancing at home.

“I love how technology continues to bring us together. It’s proof that connection and community don’t always have to happen within the walls of a church building! I’ve learned even more how important it is for our children to see us engaged in community. It’s been sweet to see my son engaged and asking questions during our Sunday School class. He especially loves and appreciates Pastor Terry Feix’s maps and gets his world globe to follow along!” -Morgan G.

No matter how you choose to connect, there’s a Sunday School class for every age and stage of life. Many Sunday School classes continue their typical routines of catching up with each other before or after class: “It is great being able to connect virtually,” said John Frick, leader of the Empty Nesters Sunday School class. “Our class disproves the adage that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Our class is demonstrating their love and joy of being connected with each other. Many join the Zoom meeting early and stay late just to chat…similar to what they do when we meet in person.”
