And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!

– Romans 10:15

Today, I am reminded that you have sent me as an ambassador into the world. I’m not to take cover and hide, insulated by the comfort of the grace you extended to me. My story is not for my sake alone. Rather, you’ve called me to move out, seeking those who need you most and know you least. Place on my heart those with whom I can share your truth, put in my path those whom I can show your mercy, and send me to those who need to hear about your redemptive love! Lord, use me to bring others the good news, “Jesus came for you,” so that they might celebrate this Easter with an understanding of their Savior’s love.

Today’s prayer boldly reminds us we are not called to live in comfort, but we are called to share God’s grace, mercy, and love with others. Pray today for the courage to invite someone to celebrate Easter with you and be open to who God places on your heart. Many of us call Crossings our home because someone invited us. Think of someone you can share this invitation with.
