A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

– John 13:34-35 NIV

You have loved me with a fervent, sacrificial love. Your very nature is cloaked in love; even when you convict and correct me, it is because you love me. Lord, overwhelm me with the breadth and depth of your love today and let that be my example for how I should, in turn, love others. Help me to love like Jesus loved–unconditionally, generously, mercifully, selflessly, humbly, and with the heart of a servant.
In your power and grace I pray,

God has created you and equipped you with special spiritual gifts and passions to serve others. Making time to volunteer–whether it’s one time a year or daily–is crucial to your walk with God and your relationship with him. There are over 300 volunteer opportunities available to you at Crossings OKC, Crossings Edmond, the Clinic and Community Center, Joseph Harp, and in our community. Sign up to volunteer today, even if it is a one-time, one-hour commitment. Serving and sharing your gifts will help you strengthen your relationship with God and help you shine his light into the lives of those around you.
