Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
– Psalm 139:23-24
You have known every detail about me even before you created the heavens and the earth. Nothing escapes your loving attention–no thought, no worry, no temptation, no lingering doubt. Help me to see whatever offends you so I can confess it, agree with you that it is sin, and rid it from my heart and life. I know I am often blind to my own weaknesses, so I pray you reveal them to me now so I can seek forgiveness. Restore me and lead me into righteousness.
In your name,
