God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

– Ephesians 2:8-9

Thank you for your unimaginable, unexplainable grace. Forgive me for those times in my life where I miss it because of my attempts to earn, deserve, or merit favor. Show me those places where I pursue your grace as if it is a response to anything I do or don’t do–composing and completing spiritual checklists. May I rest in the truth that your grace is an extravagant gift; one I don’t deserve and can’t earn, yet one which is offered again and again. Lord, give me opportunities to extend this kind of grace to other people I encounter today.

God’s grace is boundless, unfathomable, and incredible. His grace offers a peace that surpasses our understanding and an overwhelming joy we can’t help but share. Today, read the story, “Baptism Blessings,” and explore our Baptism page to learn more about going public with your faith at Crossings. If you’d like to be baptized, please let us know by completing this form! Our next Baptism Sunday is May 19.
