That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!

– Ephesians 1:15-19 MSG

Help me to use your example of love and complete sacrifice as a way to persevere in my walk of obedient faith. I am weak, and I know I can’t do this without you, so I pray for your strength. Give me the power to live up to what you know is possible in me. Thank you for not giving up on me and for not holding past failings against me. Help me refuse to settle for anything less than what you are able and willing to do in my life. Use my life to reflect your glory.

As you begin your week of work, school, travel, and other things that fill your schedule, it’s easy to get distracted and to simply try to survive each day rather than finding opportunities each day for “divine interruptions.” Are you making space for God to work in your life? Today, watch the message, “Divine Interruptions,” to learn where God is guiding you and reflect on ways you can surrender to God’s will for you today—and every day.
